Our goal is to help families make the best decision for their child – even if that means they decide to parent. We consider this agency a ministry, not a business. We are not interested in large numbers of placements. We are interested in children having Christ-centered, loving, permanent homes. This means all adoptive families that we work with are actively involved in their churches and are committed to their faith.
Non-profit
As a non-profit agency, that means that no money is made from the services we provide. There is no financial incentive or personal gain for the agency when someone decides to make an adoption plan. We focus on what is best for you and your child.
Quality Counseling
We value counseling very highly. Adoption is not a decision to be made lightly – it is one of the most difficult decisions a person will ever make. We think it is important to offer birth parents ethical, professional assistance to help them make this important decision.
Experience
Buckner has been facilitating adoptions since 1884. The staff here has over 55 years of combined adoption experience and has been blessed with numerous acknowledgements and awards in the field of adoption. Each member of the counseling staff is licensed by the State of Texas.
