Ways you can pray:
- Pray that children in foster care will know that they are loved and remembered by God
- Pray for current foster and adoptive families to be filled with God’s peace, patience, strength and love for their children
- Pray for new families to answer the call to provide homes for children in need through foster care and adoption
- Pray for families with a desire to foster parent and adopt older children and groups of siblings
“I believe that God expects us to respond to the orphan crisis in our world today. He has called us as individuals, as Christians, and as His church. This devotional guide is intended to be a help for you as you study and pray through God’s call to action. As you consider God’s calling on your life to care for ‘the least of these,’ may you be blessed as you draw near the Father who can erase fear and bring hope with His unconditional love.”
Lee Bush, former chair of the Board of Trustees, Buckner International
